Dominium Acquires Southridge and Fenway Manor

May 16, 2012 – Dominium, a leading apartment development and management company, today announced the acquisition of Fenway Manor and Southridge, both in Des Moines, Iowa.

Fenway Manor is a Section 42 complex, with 120 units, built in 1994. Renovations are planned including building a new clubhouse. Exterior improvements include new siding and new windows. Interiors improvements for common areas and units include new flooring, appliances, cabinets and new water heaters, among others.

Southridge, also a Section 42 complex built in 1994, has 60 units. Renovations are also planned for Southridge, including new cabinets, countertops, door hardware, lighting and new water heaters. Exterior renovations also include updating the siding of the building and new exterior signage.

“Fenway Manor and Southridge are great additions to Dominium’s owned portfolio,” said Armand Brachman, managing partner for Dominium. “The substantial renovations to each property will improve the quality of affordable housing in Des Moines.”
