Nassau Bay Apartments Hosts National Night Out Celebration

In the Community

On Tuesday August 5th, Nassau Bay Apartments residents were invited to attend the annual National Night Out Celebration which is designed to strengthen communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The event was held in the newly completed outdoor space that includes a picnic and playground area and splash pad.

Over 200 Nassau Bay residents and families enjoyed free food and beverages and many activities for the kids including inflatables, face painting and games. Nassau Bay also celebrated the grand opening of its splash pad where residents can cool off in a rainbow of sprinklers, bubblers and water jets.

Dominium acquired Nassau Bay apartments in August 2013. Throughout the past year, in addition to the outdoor space, the company has done extensive landscaping to beautify the grounds, built a covered bus stop and is renovating the interior common areas and individual apartment units. All renovations will be completed in the next few weeks.

Nassau Bay increased security measures by installing operational controlled access vehicle and pedestrian gates and a state-of-the art surveillance system. The complex was recently awarded the city’s “Crime Free” designation for its adoption of the Orlando Police Department’s Crime-Free Multi-housing Program.
