Mixed use plan Ok’d for Schmidt Brewery site: Minneapolis/ St. Paul Business Journal
March 24, 2011 - The city of St. Paul approved a $1.9 million loan to aide in the renovation of the Schmidt Brewery complex by both the West 7th group and Dominium. The loan will help in the first phase of development for the building which will include a renovation of the Rathskeller, formally the Schmidt office building, along with the former keg and case storage buildings. The second phase will include Dominium, which plans on renovating the remaining buildings into an affordable apartment housing community.
