Glendale Senior Apartments will provide 148 units of affordable housing and 15 units of permanent supportive housing for residents exiting homelessness

Dominium, a leading affordable housing owner, developer and manager announced today the closing of the financing for Glendale Senior Apartments in partnership with Mercy Housing in Glendale, a national nonprofit that is working to build a more humane world where communities are healthy, and all people can develop their full potential.

Located at 7290 W 14th Avenue in Glendale, Arizona, Glendale Senior Apartments when completed, the 148-apartment community will service seniors ages 62 and older. The development will provide 17 homes at 30% AMI, 63 homes at 50% AMI, and 68 homes at 60% AMI. Mercy Housing will provide 15 homes with Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) services that include on-site case management and wrap around services for senior households that are exiting homelessness with a preference for qualifying veterans. The PSH program at this site will follow Mercy's "housing first" national supportive housing practices which are centered on voluntary services for residents while providing robust services onsite aimed at increasing housing tenancy for the most vulnerable residents in this community. Mercy has years of experience providing quality PSH programming and is excited to introduce its blended property management and robust resident centered services model to the Glendale property.

Dominium would like to thank its development and financing partners U.S. Bank, PGIM, Stifel, Maricopa County, the Arizona Department of Housing, the city of Glendale, Morgan Stanley, Freddie Mac, Enterprise Housing Credit Investments, the Arizona Industrial Development Authority, Tofel Dent Construction, Winthrop & Weinstine, Tood & Associates, Wilson & Co, Kutak Rock, Tiber Hudson, Hollan & Knight, Chicago Title Agency, among others. This project would not have been possible without their support.
