The developer completed a $5 Million rehabilitation of the Council Bluffs, Iowa property

Dominium, a Minneapolis-based leading apartment owner, developer and manager, announced today the grand re-opening of RiverEast, a 120-unit affordable housing development in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The property underwent a $5 Million renovation and has updated interior and exterior amenities.

RiverEast offers reimagined two and three-bedroom apartments. Upgrades to individual apartments include brand-new in-home washers and dryers, fully-equipped kitchens with granite countertops and energy-star rated appliances, extra storage, private balconies or patios, individual furnaces and central air conditioning. A new clubhouse was also added which includes an on-site fitness center, a party room, and a maintenance shop.

RiverEast has a newly upgraded children’s play area, a pergola, a fire pit and a courtyard for grilling and entertaining. There also are garages and off-street parking.

“The renovation has brought new life to the property,” said Ryan Lunderby, vice president and project partner at Dominium. “The updates make this a great place for RiverEast residents to call home.”

Located in Council Bluffs, RiverEast is in a quiet, private neighborhood and is just a short drive from Omaha, Neb. RiverEast is near several dining and entertainment options, as well as the Omaha Children’s Museum and Lake Manawa State Park.
