Property News

The development provides 252 units of much-needed affordable housing to the Denver metro

Dominium, a Minneapolis-based leading apartment owner, developer and manager, announced today the grand opening of East Range Crossings, a 252-unit affordable housing development in Denver, Colo. Dominium has a local development office in Denver.

East Range Crossings offers one, two and three-bedroom apartment homes, all situated within three-story walk-up buildings. The development combines state-of-the-art amenities with classic Colorado features like stone and stucco. The common area between buildings includes a courtyard, a grill space, a pool and spa, playgrounds, a bike barn, a dog wash and a maintenance facility. The community also features detached garages and carports.

The property also features a clubhouse with a fitness center, yoga area, community kitchen and a community laundry facility. East Range Crossings is a mixed-income community, with 90 percent of the apartments reserved for residents earning up to 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), five percent of the apartments reserved for residents earning up to 50 percent AMI and the other five percent of the apartments reserved for residents earning up to 40 percent AMI.

“East Range Crossings combines the comfort and fun of large community spaces with contemporary, low-maintenance apartment living,” said Ron Mehl, Vice President and Project Partner at Dominium. “The amenities of this affordable housing community were designed with an active, working community in mind. East Range Crossings would not have been possible without the Colorado Housing Finance Authority, Bank of America, Barings, the Denver Housing Authority and the Denver Office of Economic Development.”

East Range Crossings is near the Denver International Airport and the newly opened Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center.
