The Oasis at Twin Lakes has First Virtual Groundbreaking

Property News

The affordable housing provider says it is their first event in over six months since the outbreak of COVID-19.

Dominium, a Minneapolis-based leading affordable housing owner, developer and manager, celebrated its first-ever virtual event on Sept. 29 for its new property, The Oasis at Twin Lakes in Roseville, MN.

This is the first time in the company’s history to have a groundbreaking event filmed and showcased online. Dominium plans to continue hosting virtual events with a hope of making them accessible to a larger online audience.

Dominium’s decision of a virtual event was made with the safety and well-being of attendees in mind. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Dominium had put a halt on all in-person events since March.

The next series of virtual events will be held for three of the company's newest construction projects in Georgia - Grayson Ridge in Lawrenceville, Preserve at Peachtree Shoals in Dacula and Stonepointe in Lithonia.

The video, accessible through Vimeo and LinkedIn, highlights construction timelines, property amenities, community impact and features speakers including Roseville mayor, Dan Roe.

“We’re proud and excited to be breaking ground on over 200 affordable homes for families in the city of Roseville and the surrounding community,” said Ryan Lunderby, Vice President and Project Partner at Dominium.

The Oasis at Twin Lakes will provide 228 units of affordable multi-family homes with an expected completion of construction in early 2022.

In a time where affordable housing has never been more important, Dominium is grateful for the partnerships and opportunities to create a community that residents are proud to call home.
