Digi International, a global provider of Internet of Things connectively products and services, is moving its global headquarters from Minnetonka’s Opus business park to Hopkins’ Excelsior Crossings, an Opus corporate campus that is home to Cargill.
The move is set for early next year. The new headquarters will be about 3 miles from the current location and remains near the company’s logistics facility in Eden Prairie.
The current building at 11001 Bren Rd. E. will be demolished to make way for Minnetonka’s largest-ever housing project: a three-building, 482-unit affordable housing apartment complex by developer Dominium. It is directly across the street from an anticipated Southwest Light Rail station.
