As a Developer, David D'Amelio is responsible for originating and overseeing new project development, acquisitions, and financing, primarily in the major metropolitan areas of Texas and Oklahoma. Since joining Dominium in January 2020, D'Amelio has worked on a variety of project types including fee simple acquisitions, partnership interest acquisitions, new construction projects and resyndications. During his tenure, D'Amelio has contributed significantly to Dominium's expansion into new markets, including the State of Oklahoma, and has been involved in the acquisition and development of more than 2,300 units and placement of $600 million of debt and equity.
D'Amelio holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he competed on the university's Division 1 football team. D'Amelio is an active member of the Texas Association of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP) and is a contributor to the Dominium Foundation, which contributes to important housing and social service organizations in the communities where Dominium operates.
