St. Paul’s redevelopment efforts moving ahead post-recession – with public help: Twincities.com
May 12, 2011 - In an effort to create jobs during this post-recession era, the city of St. Paul is planning on “rebuilding St. Paul” with about a dozen new development projects. Dominium is one of many development companies involved with its plan to redevelop the Schmidt Brewery. Dominium plans to buy the Schmidt bottle house and brew house, converting them into 220-240 unit apartments. The West 7th/ Fort Road Federation will is also buy part of the building, the Rathskeller, which acted as the brewery’s office building.
