Groundbreaking celebration planned for new affordable housing community in Lexington

Dominium, a Minneapolis-based leading apartment owner, developer and manager, announced today that it has begun construction on Landings of Lexington, a 180-unit affordable housing community in Lexington, Minn.

Landings of Lexington will feature spacious common areas with high-end finishes. The community consists of two four-story residential buildings, with a prominent corner clubhouse along Lovell Road and Lexington Avenue.

Landings of Lexington will have apartments with nine-foot ceilings, fully equipped kitchens with energy star rated appliances, granite countertops, balconies, and in-home washer and dryer. Community amenities include a clubroom with an outdoor patio, a fitness center, an activity area for kids, storage lockers, a playground, and an outdoor obstacle course. With a combination of outdoor and indoor amenities, residents at Landings of Lexington will get to enjoy what the community has to offer year-round.

“The Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area has experienced a shortage of affordable housing in recent years, an issue that Dominium is working to address. Landings of Lexington is an opportunity for Dominium to be a part of the solution by introducing affordable housing to a new city in the metro,” said Dominium Project Partner and Vice President Ryan Lunderby. “Having owned and managed numerous properties in the area, Dominium understands the demand for affordable housing as well as what residents expect to see at their properties.”

Construction is expected to be completed in Spring 2020.
