Dominium Acquires Lakecrest Village Apartments

Dominium, announced today that it has acquired Lakecrest Village Apartment, a 224-unit affordable housing community in Houston.

Dominium is planning a renovation of the property which will be completed in summer of 2018. The kitchen and bathroom in each unit will undergo full renovations to include new, efficient kitchen and bath plumbing fixtures, granite counter tops, and new cabinets. Additional unit improvements will include new appliances and light fixtures in all units.

The site will also feature a newly constructed clubhouse that will have management offices, an expanded supportive service space, fitness center, theater, and clubroom complete with a kitchen. Outdoor amenities will include two shaded playgrounds, a new pool and pool deck, horseshoe pit, and a new patio area with multiple barbecue pits. In addition, exterior improvements will include new roofs, perimeter site fencing, automatic entry security gates, and all new building and unit signage.

Lakecrest Village was built in 1999. Dominium acquired the property in July of this year.
