Oconomowoc, a treasure in Southeast Wisconsin, is at the center of an area known for the natural beauty of several lakes. Oconomowoc was founded in 1837 when the first settler, Charles Sheldon, built his log cabin. Since that time it has incorporated and continues to prosper.

In the city of Oconomowoc are Fowler Lake and Lac La Belle Lake which are joined by a waterfall and are the centerpieces of many activities. The city is home to the state-of-the-art Regional Cancer Center at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Today, over 12,000 people call Oconomowoc home.
