Welcome to Hudson – Spirit of the St. Croix! Hudson has become one of Wisconsin’s fastest growing communities. Throughout the growth, there remains a wonderful connection to the past. Hudson combines natural beauty, a clean environment, a healthy lifestyle and respect for both arts and architecture.
Whether it is golfing, dining, boating, cross-country skiing, snow-tubing, antique hunting, or just relaxing at historic B&Bs or one of our several motels, Hudson welcomes you to the beautiful St. Croix Valley. The Hudson Chamber of Commerce is here to provide value to and serve its members by promoting a strong local economy, advocating the interests of the business community while promoting the recreational and cultural opportunities within our expanding market area.
Today St. Croix County is well known for its dairy products with milk the most important source of income for its farmers. St. Croix County has a total of 21 towns, nine villages and three fourth-class cities, and two Wards of River Falls located in St. Croix County. Hudson offers a variety of events throughout the year. Whether it is winter, spring, summer or fall, there is always something to do in the Hudson area.
During summer make sure you check out the St. Croix Music and Art Festival. You can listen to live music, enjoy a variety of food and beverages and explore the artist village. They say location is everything – and what could be better than a beautiful spot between the beautiful St. Croix River and the bluffs of western Wisconsin – all just 20 minutes east of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Make sure to visit the Octagon House, the Phipps Center for the Arts, Willow River State Park and all the other activities in Hudson to keep you busy. Visiting the beaches is also a great way to stay cool on hot summer days.
