Westerville’s heritage dating back to 1809, natural beauty, and careful planning make it a special place to call home. Westerville has gone through many changes during its nearly two-century history.
Through it all, Westerville citizens have shown themselves to be rich in heritage, culture, pride, and vision--from the original settlers who took part in the Revolutionary War, to those who risked their lives as part of the Underground Railroad, to today’s residents who continue to aspire to make Westerville a better community for future generations.
Recreational opportunities abound in Westerville with 41 different parks or recreation facilities, including a 96,600 square foot community recreation center. Cooper Colony is conveniently located near Interstates 270 and 71, and right off Westerville Road, more commonly known as State Route 3.
Cooper Colony is near a public bus line, and is within a few minutes of shopping in downtown Westerville, the Worthington Mall and Easton Town Center. We are within miles from Otterbein College, and even closer to several movie theaters. Within a 10 mile drive you could be at the Columbus International Airport, the Ohio State Fairgrounds or the Ohio Historical Society.
