Starplex Cinema is now open accross the street. Welcome to the Town of Normal, Illinois,  one of the fastest growing cities in the Midwest.  Normal rests in the heart of Central Illinois. With its “Twin City” neighbor of Bloomington.

Normal is 125 miles southwest of Chicago, 155 miles northeast of St. Louis, and 64 miles northeast of Springfield, the State Capital.  Three major interstate highways converge (I-55, I-74 and I-39) in Normal giving it great transportation access across the central plains.

The Normal-Bloomington community is home to such major employers as Illinois State University, Mitsubishi Motors of North America, Inc., State Farm Insurance, Illinois Agricultural Association, Verizon Communications, General Electric, and many others.  The Normal-Bloomington area is also home to both Illinois State and Illinois Wesleyan Universities with their many social and cultural contributions to the community.

There are a variety of activities and thing to do in Normal; the big decision is where to begin!   

Take your friends and family to visit the Aviation Museum, Aquatic Center, or the Family Fun Park.  To have a wild time, make sure to check out the Zoo.  With so many venues and performances, be sure to take time to enjoy a show at the many theatres in the area.   

If the great outdoors is something your enjoy stop in and hike our four different camping grounds and park areas.  After all those fun activities, everyone gets hungry so checking out the variety of restaurants and places to eat is the next thing on your list.  Last minute shopping is not a problem living at Briarwood II, there are three shopping malls less than 20 minutes away.  Also near by are grocery stores, banks and more!
